On behalf of our client, a CySEC regulated Forex Broker, we are seeking for a professional and reliable Accountant/Bookkeeper to join a growing team based in Limassol.

The successful candidate will have at previous experience in a similar role within the Forex Industry.

The Role:

As an Accountant/Bookkeeper you will be responsible for the following:

• Book-keeping and recording of Company’s transactions on a daily basis.

• Assisting in the preparation of the monthly management accounts, preparation and submission of VAT reports.

• Preparation of Cash, Balance Sheet and P&L reconciliations.

• Reconciling bank statements and bank accounts.

• Assisting in the preparation and recording of payroll.

• Provide effective support and back-up to colleagues when necessary and as required.

• Assisting CFO with preparation of reports and other relevant tasks.

• Participating in various projects and ad hoc assignments.

• Assisting auditors with their various requests to ensure audit is completed on time.

• Responsible for the proper and efficient filing of all documents relating to the above procedures.

The Person:

• Minimum of 4 years’ of experience in a similar position. Experience within the Forex Industry is a must.

• Degree in Accounting and/or Finance or Economics or related field would be considered an advantage.

• LCCI Higher or Equivalent is a must.

• Fluent in English (written and oral).

• Proficient user of Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Excellent knowledge of at least one accounting software, preferably SAP.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage effectively.

• Attentive to detail.

• Strong communication skills.

• Effective team player.

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
