On behalf of our client, a CySEC regulated Forex Broker, we are seeking for a professional and reliable Accountant/Bookkeeper to join a growing team based in Limassol.
The successful candidate will have at previous experience in a similar role within the Forex Industry.

The Role:
As an Accountant/Bookkeeper you will be responsible for the following:

Book-keeping and recording of Company’s transactions on a daily basis.

Assisting in the preparation of the monthly management accounts, preparation and submission of VAT reports.

Preparation of Cash, Balance Sheet and P&L reconciliations.

Reconciling bank statements and bank accounts.

Assisting in the preparation and recording of payroll.
-
Provide effective support and back-up to colleagues when necessary and as required.

Assisting CFO with preparation of reports and other relevant tasks.

Participating in various projects and ad hoc assignments.
-
Assisting auditors with their various requests to ensure audit is completed on time.

Responsible for the proper and efficient filing of all documents relating to the above procedures.
The Person:

Minimum of 4 years’ of experience in a similar position. Experience within the Forex Industry is a must.

Degree in Accounting and/or Finance or Economics or related field would be considered an advantage.

LCCI Higher or Equivalent is a must.

Fluent in English (written and oral).

Proficient user of Microsoft Excel and Word.

Excellent knowledge of at least one accounting software, preferably SAP.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage effectively.
